I’m Alex and I’m so grateful you’re here! Welcome to my substack, where I am excited to share my love for fashion, beauty, interiors, and other random things I’m obsessing over :)
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been obsessed with clothes, skincare and interior design. Right out of college, I packed up and moved from the east coast to Los Angeles on the hunt to work at one of my favorite fashion publications, Who What Wear. It was definitely a risk, especially because the heart of the fashion industry really is New York. But I had my heart set on this company and apparently no one could convince me that I was not going to work there. I found myself in LA working three different fashion internships, one of them (you guessed it) luckily was at the company I had set out to work for. This marked the start to my career in the fashion industry. Over the past 10 years, I have had the opportunity to learn by working at some of the most exciting fashion publications (Who What Wear, Conde Nast, Coveteur, and most recently, Highsnobiety) — a reality that I feel grateful for and has taught me so much over the years. At this point, my brain is just about combusting with constant outfit inspiration, new beauty finds, and incredible interiors that will make you drool so I thought, why not share it with you! This is all very new to me, so I’d love to hear from you — what do you need help shopping for? What styling questions do you have?
