Happy Sunday! A little dose of outfit inspiration always gets me more excited for the week ahead so here you are…
Whether you’re a corporate girlie or headed to after school pick up, a perfect pair of denim and a layered sweater moment never fails. When it comes to denim, I’ve been eyeing Levi’s 501 90’s Ankle Jeans in Sweetest Taboo and the 501 90’s Selvedge Jeans in Piece of History. I’ve heard amazing things about both of these styles and it doesn’t hurt that the price point is affordable. The Selvedge Jeans are supposed to feel like that perfect, lived in pair of Levi’s that is often so hard to find—sign me up!
It feels like quite a few knitwear brands have hit the scene (or I’m just late), so I thought I’d share a couple of favorites that are quite literally consuming me—not to be dramatic. If you know me, my closet is 60% sweaters and knits and they are my favorite article of clothing to wear, so trust me.
ROHE, an Amsterdam based knitwear brand, is new on my radar and makes beautiful pieces crafted from Italian yarn that feel elevated yet simple enough for everyday wear. A few of my favorite pieces include this gorgeous sweater, layered with this. I also love this.
My open tabs are telling me that Jardin Des Orangers makes the cut for ones to watch. I recently learned about them and am loving this V-Neck style—there are so many ways you can layer. This and this are also beautiful.
You likely already know about Donni, but they have some great pieces this season, especially here and here. While we’re already here, their cashmere socks are a must.
On the topic of cashmere, I’m still on the hunt for cashmere beanies. Add this, this and this to the wish list. Cafe Society makes one that is literal perfection. I’m not opposed to something with a bit of color. “The Bebe” from Suzie Kondi in black/navy stripe with the matching scarf specifically caught my eye.
Additional accessories to complete the look from the beginning of this newsletter include a really good Miu Miu glasses dupe from Jimmy Fairly. Not sure if everyone’s sick of these yet, but I think I might like this version even better. The Row Park Three Leather Tote Bag in a beautiful chocolatey brown. Khaite Monroe Loafers. And the star of the show being the Nour Hammour Samara Shearling Coat.
COATS. COATS. COATS. There are so many amazing styles this season, and I love that we’re back to embracing more fun, adventurous options. Today, I got swept into a vortex of extremely expensive, yet gorgeous options from MyTheresa (a girl can dream, can’t she?), so to close this out, I’ll share my favorites here:
See you next week!
xx Alex
